Chef Josh Chilton will curate a selection of small bites + tapas, served family-style during the evening. These bites will be paired with a selection of Forty Creek whiskies, with the final lineup to be announced closer to the event date. The Flavor Camp Taste Challenge: Canadian Whisky is an immersive, hands-on masterclass designed to sharpen how you taste, talk about, and evaluate Canadian whisky. Rather than focusing on brands or backstories, this session centres on blind sensory evaluation, using Flavor Camp’s structured tasting system to identify flavour, texture, and style without bias.

Participants will work through the same eight Canadian whiskies in a guided format, learning how production choices like grain, barrel, and ABV shape what shows up in the glass. Expect a mix of single malts, blends, rye styles, peated expressions, and cask-strength bottlings, explored through a flavour-first lens. The goal isn’t to rank whiskies, but to train your palate, build a shared language, and taste with greater confidence and clarity.

This exclusive gathering will feature the leading distilleries and figures shaping the future of whisky in the region, including Dillon's Small Batch Distillers, Forty Creek Distillery, Wayne Gretzky Estates, Harris Beach Spirits, Spirit In Niagara Distillery, and the Niagara College Teaching Distillery.

The evening will begin with a specialized introduction to the world of Niagara Whisky, exploring its unique terroir and defining characteristics, led by renowned Whisky Consultant, Ajay Bhardwaj. Attendees will also have the chance to interact with the college's Artisan Distilling Students, who are assisting with and hosting the evening. Following the introduction, guests will have the unique opportunity to meet and engage directly with the producers and brand ambassadors behind these respected Niagara distilleries, gaining firsthand insight into their production philosophies and the passion that defines their spirits, making this an unparalleled chance to raise a glass to the local industry and the remarkable quality of Niagara-made spirits.
